The system below was desined to be able to clean kettle vessels, quickly and efficiently.

All tubing on the skid is 316L Stainless Steel and has a surface finish of less than 20Ra for the product contact areas. The design of the system was a collaberative effort between the customer and AlphaBio.

Portable Clean-In-Place System 2


Below is a Clean in Place system that was designed to fit into an extremely small frame. The overall dimensions of the skid were 53"x31"x65". All the process piping on the skid is 316L Stainless Steel and has a 2" O.D. The system footprint constraints were so small that the front door panel required modification to be able to navigate through narrow hallways.


On this skid we used the following components:

  • Aquasyn Pneumatically Actuated Valves
    • 2.0" Straight Through Valves
    • 2.0" 2-way Divert Valve
    • 2.0" x 1.0" Zero Static Tee Valve
    • 3/4" Straight Through Valves
    • 2.0" Straight Valve with Burkert Positioning System Integrated
  • Allen-Bradley Programable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Magnetrol Guided Wave Radar Level Indicating Transmitter
  • Rosemount Pressure Transmitters
  • LMI Milton Roy Metering Pumps
  • Endress+Hauser Vortex Flow Meter
  • Thornton 2000 Series pH & Conductivity Transmitter
